Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if I don't see the breed I'm looking for?

If you don't see the breed, color, sex, or type of puppy you are interested in, please send us an email and tell us exactly what you're looking for. We'll do our best to help match you with the perfect pooch!

  • Do our puppies have all their shots and dewormings?

By the time you receive your puppy, they will have had two sets of essential shots and deworming treatments. The puppy’s vaccination schedule will span a year, however, so they will need to be brought to the vet periodically to stay up-to-date. You will be given the puppy’s health certificate at the time of sale, which shows the complete history of their vaccinations.

  • Is every puppy microchipped?

Yes. They have microchips for their protection. Why should your puppy be microchipped? The most significant advantage of purchasing a microchip tracking device for your dog is that you will improve your chances of reuniting with your pet if they become lost.

  • Where do our puppies come from?

We have a strict screening process and work with select hobby breeders and verified dog breeders that are in complete compliance with USDA guidelines. These verified breeders are inspected and regulated by the relevant government authorities, with both announced and unannounced inspections to ensure that they are consistently up to standard.

  • How old are the puppies we sell?

Each puppy we sell will vary in age, but they must be at least 8 weeks old before they can leave their littermates. This is to ensure that they develop the critical life skills they will need in order to live a long and fulfilling life. These skills include how to socialize with other dogs and knowing how to self-feed. Since teacup puppies are especially fragile, they may not be available until weeks after they reach 8 weeks old so they can have extra time to develop properly.

  • Can my puppy be shipped to me?

Yes, our puppies can be shipped anywhere in the United States. In addition, we provide a hand-delivery service where the puppy is safely brought to your home, regardless of where you live.

  • What is the average lifespan of smaller breeds?

The lifespan of smaller breed dogs typically ranges from 10 to 15 years, but can be even longer. In general, smaller breed dogs live longer than their larger breed counterparts.

  • Are our puppies examined by veterinarians before going home?

Yes! At the time of sale, all puppies are examined by a certified veterinarian who examines them and confirms that they are healthy. This document verifies that your pet has received all of their required immunizations and has received a clean bill of health.

  • Do we recommend teacup puppies for small children?

Toy or larger-sized puppies are recommended for families with small children. Though teacup puppies are adored by all, children may not realize that these dogs are fragile and cannot handle rough play. They can get stressed if those in the household are not gentle with them. If children are around the puppy, they will need to be taught how to interact with him/her in a safe manner.
